WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS

A Vehicle Management and Revenue-Sharing Arrangement

The Vehicle Partner Program is a vehicle management and revenue-sharing arrangement, not a traditional rental or tourist car service.

Vehicles are leased to approved rideshare drivers only, following a structured qualification and onboarding process. M&P Shore Leasing manages driver placement, vehicle coordination, and rental administration while the vehicle owner retains ownership.

This program is designed for vehicle owners who have a car they are not currently using or want help managing a vehicle that is underutilized.

How the Program Works

Our streamlined process ensures your vehicle is placed with qualified drivers quickly and efficiently, with full transparency at every step.

Revenue is generated ONLY when the vehicle is actively rented. There is no income during periods when the vehicle is not in service.

Vehicle owners are responsible for all costs during downtime periods, including insurance, registration, and any applicable fees. M&P Shore Leasing does not provide compensation for downtime.

  • Includes oil changes, tire rotations, brake pads, filters
  • Notification to M&P Shore Leasing recommended

Major Repairs

Repairs and maintenance over $500

  • Vehicle owner approval required before proceeding
  • Includes transmission, engine work, major body damage
  • M&P Shore Leasing will notify owner and provide estimate

Important Maintenance Notes

  • All maintenance and repair costs are the responsibility of the vehicle owner
  • Vehicle owner must maintain the vehicle in safe, operational condition at all times
  • Failure to maintain the vehicle may result in removal from the program
  • No revenue is generated during maintenance or repair periods

Mileage Caps & Asset Protection

Protecting your vehicle's lifespan and value through monitoring and enforcement.

24/7 GPS Tracking

All vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking systems that monitor location, mileage, and driving patterns in real-time.

Mileage Monitoring

Weekly and monthly mileage is tracked and reported. Excessive mileage beyond normal rideshare usage is flagged for review.

Abuse Detection

Driving patterns are monitored for aggressive driving, excessive speed, and other behaviors that may damage the vehicle.

Excess Mileage & Abuse Policy

Excessive Mileage

Mileage significantly beyond normal rideshare usage may result in additional fees paid by the driver or rental adjustment.

Aggressive Driving Flags

GPS systems may detect harsh braking, rapid acceleration, or excessive speeding. Repeated violations will be addressed.

Termination for Abuse

Repeated warnings for excessive mileage or aggressive driving may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and vehicle return.

These protections help preserve your vehicle's condition and resale value throughout the rental period.

Insurance Requirements

Vehicle Owner Insurance Responsibilities

You MUST Maintain Active Insurance Coverage

The vehicle owner is 100% responsible for maintaining active insurance coverage on the vehicle at all times during program participation.

Required Coverage

  • Rideshare endorsement OR commercial coverage is REQUIRED
  • Personal auto insurance alone is NOT sufficient
  • Coverage must be active and valid throughout rental period

Claims & Deductibles

  • All insurance claims go through the vehicle owner's policy
  • Deductibles are the vehicle owner's responsibility
  • Premium increases are the vehicle owner's responsibility

What M&P Shore Leasing Provides

M&P Shore Leasing provides administrative support only:

  • Assistance with incident documentation
  • Communication coordination between parties
  • GPS and tracking data when needed

What M&P Shore Leasing Does NOT Provide

  • M&P Shore Leasing does NOT provide insurance coverage
  • M&P Shore Leasing does NOT pay deductibles
  • M&P Shore Leasing does NOT cover repair costs
  • M&P Shore Leasing does NOT guarantee claim approval

If you do not have or cannot obtain rideshare/commercial insurance coverage, you cannot participate in this program.
